[Column] Fascinating strawberry experience
The Strawberry Sweets Buffet presented by Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort is an event filled with sweet temptations that seem to herald the arrival of spring.
Guests who visit this special buffet will be able to experience the deliciousness of the finest strawberries grown at Oz Berry Farm Onizawa Strawberry Garden in Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, with just one bite.
The head chef and pastry chef visited Oz Berry Farm Onizawa Strawberry Garden in Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Hokota City is blessed with a warm climate throughout the year, making it ideal for agriculture. Oz Berry Farm Onizawa Strawberry Garden is a trusted producer that won the grand prize at the 11th Ibaraki Strawberry Grand Prix, and their commitment to strawberry cultivation is not to be missed, as they value the consistent process from the time the strawberries are handed over to customers directly.
Certified as eco-farmers under the Sustainable Agriculture Act, they minimize the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers and maximize the power of nature by utilizing enzymes that produce microorganisms.
We have also installed special environmental measuring equipment to thoroughly control the temperature, humidity, ventilation, and other aspects inside the strawberry greenhouses.
According to the explanation, the size of the flower is directly related to the size of the fruit, and the larger the flower, the better the strawberry will grow. Furthermore, there are clear standards for how to tell if a strawberry is delicious, and the closer the gap between the seeds is to the flesh, the sweeter it is. Also, strawberries with black seeds and stems pointing upwards are particularly delicious.
At Oz Berry Farm Onizawa Strawberry Farm, strawberries are always harvested only when they are fully ripe. They have a strong commitment to never ship strawberries until they are fully ripe.
This commitment of the strawberry farm is reflected in the strawberry buffet at Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort. Pastry chefs use safe and delicious strawberries grown at Oz Berry Farm Onizawa Strawberry Farm to create exquisite sweets to impress and delight customers.
Both producers and pastry chefs strive to provide the best taste to customers, and the Strawberry Sweets Buffet, filled with their passion, is sure to leave you very satisfied.
This special buffet is not just a meal, but also a place where the passion of strawberry growers and pastry chefs resonates with each other. Come and experience the enchanting strawberry experience.
