Terms and Conditions for Use of Lockers for Guests
The user shall use the lockers operated by Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort (hereinafter referred to as “the Hotel”) for the exclusive use of guests (hereinafter referred to as “the Facilities”, including various fixtures and equipment). (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”), the user shall be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”) set forth below. Article 1

(Responsibilities of Users)
Article 5
Users are responsible for the following.
The user is responsible for the following: – Storing, locking, unlocking, and retrieving items from the facility
– Operating equipment in accordance with the operating instructions provided in the facility
– Taking care not to reveal the PIN to a third party, and keeping a memo or similar document containing the PIN
– Making sure that no one else has stored items in the storage facility or area being used
– Taking measures to prevent theft or loss of items stored in the facility
In the event that a locker user claims to have forgotten or mistyped his/her PIN when locking the locker, and the hotel is able to reasonably determine that the person making such a claim is the user of the locker, the hotel may unlock the locker. In such a case, when handing over the stored items to the user who made such a request, the user shall be required to present his/her identification card, including name, address, telephone number, etc., for identification. In such cases, the hotel may take a copy of the identification card.
The User shall compensate the Hotel or any third party for any damage caused by or in connection with the User’s use of the facilities.
(Restrictions on items to be stored)
Article 6
The following items may not be stored in the facility.
(1) Cash and securities
(2) Valuables (credit cards, cash cards and other items equivalent to cash, passports and other items that can be used as ID for the person, expensive items including jewelry, precious metals, cameras, computers, etc., items containing much personal information, and other items that the user subjectively considers valuable)
(3) Animals, plants and other living things
(4) Items that require refrigeration or freezing
(5) Products using lithium-ion batteries such as mobile batteries, volatile or toxic items, or dangerous items such as explosives
(6) Firearms, swords, etc., narcotics, stimulants, etc., items that may be related to other crimes, items prohibited by law to possess or carry, stolen items or other items obtained by crime
7) Items that emit foul odors or foul-smelling odors, are filthy, perishable, or easily damaged, or may deface or damage the facility or render it unusable for sanitary reasons.
8) Other items that the hotel deems unsuitable for storage in the facility.
In the event that baggage, etc. stored by a user falls under any of the items stipulated in the preceding paragraph, or in the event that the Hotel determines that such baggage, etc. is suspected of falling under such items, the Hotel may unlock the lock, open the stored items, store them separately, dispose of them, notify the police, and take other appropriate measures, even during the usage hours.
In the event that the Hotel incurs costs due to such measures, such as disposal, the Hotel reserves the right to charge the actual costs to the User.
(Measures to be taken after the expiration of the usage time)
Article 7
In the event that the storage items (hereinafter referred to as “leftover items”) have not been picked up after the usage time stipulated in Article 3 has elapsed. In the event that the guest does not pick up his/her left luggage (hereinafter referred to as “left luggage”), the hotel may pull up the left luggage and check the contents of the baggage. The “left-behind items” shall be stored in the same manner as baggage left behind by guests after check-out, and shall be handled in accordance with Article 16, Clause 2 of the Hotel’s Accommodation Agreement and the Rules of Use (handling of valuables and left-behind items). However, if the user is not identified, or if the user does not retrieve the property, the property will be handled as found property in accordance with the Lost and Found Property Law, and will be kept for 7 days, including the day it is retrieved, before being reported to the police station with jurisdiction over the hotel. The hotel will keep the lost property for 7 days, including the day it was picked up, and report it to the police station with jurisdiction.
However, if there is food, drink, or any other items left behind that the hotel deems difficult to store for sanitary reasons, the hotel will dispose of them at its discretion at a time deemed appropriate by the hotel. The user shall not have any claim against the hotel for this disposal.
In the event that the Hotel delivers leftover articles to a User who wishes to retrieve them, the Hotel shall comply with Article 5, Paragraph 2. In addition, the user shall bear the cost of shipping the left-over property.
(Disclaimer and Liability)
Article 8
In the following cases, the Hotel shall not be liable for any loss, damage, destruction, etc., or alteration, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “loss, etc.”) of stored items. In the following cases, the Hotel shall not be liable for any compensation even if the stored articles are lost, damaged, or altered (hereinafter referred to as “loss, etc.”).
(1) When stored items cannot be stored as stipulated in Article 6.1
(2) When the user forgets to lock the door, forgets to set the PIN, sets the PIN incorrectly, or otherwise fails to use the room in the prescribed manner
(3) When the PIN is lost or otherwise lost, resulting in improper unlocking or theft of stored items
(4) When the loss or damage is caused by a natural disaster or other force majeure (5) When the loss or damage is caused by a natural disaster or other force majeure (4) In the event of force majeure such as natural disasters
(5) In the event that stored items are subject to investigation, inspection, seizure, or required to be submitted by the relevant government authorities

In the event of loss or theft, etc., of stored articles (except those delivered to the police in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 2), and in the event that the Hotel is liable for such loss or theft, etc., the amount of compensation to be paid by the Hotel to the victim shall be equivalent to the market value of the articles. In the event of loss or theft of stored articles (excluding articles delivered to the police pursuant to Article 6, Paragraph 2), and in the event that the Hotel is responsible for such loss or theft, the amount of compensation to be paid by the Hotel to the victim shall be limited to the amount equivalent to the market value of the stored articles that have been lost or stolen (provided that the said User can reasonably prove this), or 30,000 yen, whichever is less. The amount of compensation for damages to be paid to the victim shall be limited to the lower of the amount equivalent to the market value of the lost or stolen property (limited to cases where the user can reasonably prove this) or 30,000 yen.
(Languages)
Article 9
These Terms and Conditions are presented in Japanese and other languages, but in the event of any discrepancy or difference between them, the Japanese text shall control in all respects.
(Governing Law and Court of Jurisdiction)
Article 10
Any dispute arising from the use of the facilities shall be governed by the laws of Japan and shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district or summary court of Japan having jurisdiction over the location of the Hotel.
(Modification of the General Terms and Conditions)
Article 11
These General Terms and Conditions constitute the standardized terms and conditions under the Civil Code, and the Hotel will modify the General Terms and Conditions at its discretion if such modification is in the general interest of the guests or is reasonable in light of the circumstances surrounding the modification.
2. Any changes to these General Terms and Conditions shall be posted on the hotel’s official website and shall take effect from the effective date specified at the time of posting.
Supplementary Provisions
Article 1
The Hotel has established these General Terms and Conditions of Use on March 31, 2026, which shall come into effect on April 1, 2026.
